Where are you and your band from?

We are all from Southern California, Los Angeles area.

What type of music did you hear the most growing up

Growing up I was always around Motown 60’s Music from “The temptations to “Diana Ross, James Brown, The Four-tops, Marvin Gay etc.

What made you first realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?

When I knew I wanted to pursue a career in Music was when I first performed when I was 13 in front of about two thousand people. Hearing the roar of the crowd and the smiles on people’s faces I knew this is what I wanted to do.

What sets you apart from other bands/artists today?

I’d say what sets me apart from other artist and bands is that I’ve performed for many years behind artist and have been musical director so I feel I have a lot of experience with performing being on the road writing and arranging music as well as producing music and getting the people going during a live show.

For those who have never seen or heard your music before, how would you describe your music for the public audience?

I would say my music is fun and treatable that the normally every day Music listener can vibe to and also the music nerds like myself can really dig. I try to make music that everybody can listen to and create memories with.

If you had to categorize your music, what genre would it best fit?

I would categorize it as Alternative rock.

Are there any stories surrounding your songs that you’d care to share?

My song Maxine has a funny story. I was sitting with some friends at the bar having some beers and we started talking about crazy relationships and my friend started to tell me about this girl that was crazy and threw his clothes out and locked him out and I asked what her name was and he said “Maxine”. And in that moment I said “wow that would be a great song” and the rest is history.

What do you do with your time away from music

When I’m not doing music I’m working out at the gym going for long runs and traveling around the world.

Any upcoming shows/tours/news?

I had a show May 31st at the boulevard3 in Hollywood & at Lucky Lucky strike in Hollywood on June 1st. I just signed with Effective Immediately PR, we just  released my EP title “Maxine” mid July. – MB
