When did skateboarding change your life?

That would be my high school years, I started going down the wrong road while hanging with the basketball players. Basketball is my first love however at my school the basketball players were either in full gangs or crews. Had I not started skating I probably would’ve started banging.

What is your favorite trick and why?

There’s 2 it’s the full cab and the fakie bigger spin. The full cab would be because of Reynolds and the bigger spin is kind of my take on it.

When was the first time you won a skateboard contest & how did you feel?

Hahaha yeah, I’ve never won a contest I’m not a contest guy. Lately, I’ve started to skate them a little more. I love the ones in Europe, and I love Jackalope, but I still have some kinks to work out.

Skateboarding and music are very connected to each other, what do you like to listen to while skateboarding?

I’m not one of I pod skaters g ha-ha I don’t listen to music while I skate. I’ll play some Nipsey Hussle beforehand, but it also depends on what I’m skating.

Do you prefer to shred in the streets or skateparks? Why?

If I’m filming a part I try to stay out of the park. Or I’ll only go to certain parks to work on a specific trick or so then I’m out.

Have you ever thought about giving up skateboarding? Why?

OH yeah man, last year. March 10, 2017, I took a bad that put me out for a year (broken ankle) I had some pretty bad nerve damage that lingered after the year. I still couldn’t move 3 of my toes once I returned to skating. Mentally I was all messed up I wasn’t skating the same at all, I had been out so long and hadn’t been able to a film so obviously, I lost a couple of sponsors and I pretty much thought I was done. I took skating away from myself from a few months, I remember at one point having a text ready to send to Chet saying I was quitting skateboarding. I ended up telling Theotis I was done and he kind of talked me off the ledge but it still took a minute for the fire to come back.

What inspires you to shred and evolve every day? fame or just fun?

Hahaha, I’m a skateboarder man I love it. I’m not the most famous dude out there at all and I don’t mind it at all I just love skateboarding it’s all fun.

What is your daily routine before you go shred?

I get myself self-levelheaded a few hours before I skate with a blunt and watch skate videos. During the week I work so my routine would be managing shit at Puffy Delivery then head to the park or a film sesh.

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?

Do what you want in life and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Get after that shit no matter what
