It was called ‘ Alex Road Skatepark. In 2014, Josh Carson rallied the Oside Skateboard Scene to get the skatepark named changed to ‘ Prince Park‘
The City of Oside denied him over, over & told him they are never going to change the name but that didn’t stop Carson
Carson never gave up, he fought the city to get working water fountains & bathrooms but at the same time get the name changed to #princepark
Fast forward to 2023, the skatepark has working water fountains & bathrooms.
