What got you into skateboarding?
I saw two guys doing ollies on a sidewalk and cruising around in my hometown and that time I knew that this is what I want to do. After that, my mom gave me my first board and that’s how all started
What is your skate scene like in your city?
Prague is a small city well known for its unique Stalin plaza. That´s the place where all the skaters not just from Prague going skate every single day. It´s the best place ever! Skate spots are not the best around the city, but you must make that work.
What is you to go trick to start your sesh?
pop shuvit or kickflip
Do you feel skateboarding has changed your life? How?
A lot. Almost everything I have is because of skateboarding. All the people I’ve met, all the opportunities, traveling, my job, my wife. All those things have happened because I skate.
What pro skater inspires your skateboarding?
If I must pick one name it´s Shane O’Neill
Do you prefer watching skate videos on social media or buying it? Why?
Back in the days, I’ve bought a lot of videos but now I have a feeling that all the videos are on YouTube or social media before you can even buy it.
What is the gnarliest trick you have ever done? How did you feel when you landed it?
I can’t pick one. All the trick that you are trying so hard to land and you finally land it feels great
Tell us a little bit about your local skate shop & what they do for the skateboard scene?
I love what they are doing and I´m proud to be part of it. It´s called Ambassadors and they support local skaters and scenes since 2006. Co-owner Jan Lankaš also founded the Czech skateboarding association which helps young kids to find their way to skateboarding.
What is your daily routine before you go shred?
I ´m working so the routine is quite simple. Breakfast, office, lunch, office, skateboarding
Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?
Don´t take it too seriously it´s all about the have fun and hanging out with friends.
