What got you into skateboarding?

Honestly this is funny, but I think a bunch of people have had a similar experience, I started late at 13 so every kid had this and I thought it was just like any other game except when I hit the extras, they had all these edits from Rowley and Koston. I was like oh people actually do this ha-ha. That was it. My school library had old Transworld skate mags too, so I was in there pretty much every day just getting my mind blown.

What is your skate scene like in your city?

It is really good actually there is a ton of crews who are not insta skaters but actually film full lengths and have premieres. shout out to dinner bread, tabaz and bust crew. Not that I have an issue with iPhone clips, but it is important to create something tangible and to pay homage to the craft. Anyone who is ever filmed a part gets it.

What is you to go trick to start your sesh?

Ah that depends on I mostly just cruise and try and get the blood flowing most times I decide in the moment.

Do you feel skateboarding has changed your life? How?

Absolutely, Well I had an interesting up bringing. I spent a lot of time traveling from state to state and lived in Germany a lil bit. I was able to learn a lot about myself through the skateboarder’s experience, having a community all over the world that simply accepts you because you have a skateboard was pretty dope, all the slams the struggles, the battles, wins, and losses help build character while keeping you humble. I owe all my greatest friendships and most of my happiest moments to skateboarding.

What pro skater inspires your skateboarding?

Damn that is a tough one there is so many ha-ha. Gustav tonnesen, Carlos Ribeiro, Tiago, Evan smith lots of homies too shout out to DB again for continuing to inspire.

Do you prefer watching skate videos on social media or buying it? Why?

Definitely buying skate videos there is nothing like having it and being able to absorb the whole project from the filmers and editions vision as well. I always buy local videos it helps show you appreciate the work people put in for sure.

What is the gnarliest trick you have ever done? How did you feel when you landed it?

That is a hard question I do not think about it like that for me gnarly has so many shades you can jump downstairs all day and usually that stuff comes easy for me personally. There is no better feeling than getting a good ledge line or manny trick. That feeling is good; king for a day hah!

Tell us little bit about your local skate shop & what they do for skateboard scene?

Am skate shop being my local shop they are so dope always hooking up the unfortunate. My guy Darin has a mini-indoor skatepark too. We spend a lot of these Cold winters Days at the dojo just learning stuff and just kicking it.

What is your daily routine before you go shred?

Eh it depends. Some days you wake up juiced some days I stretch, foam roll, jump rope. I try to work out often not even on some swole guy shit, but skateboarding requires a strong agile body and I want to do this for as long as possible so you gotta pay to play.

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters

Hmm that is a good question if anything I would say get your crew together and make full length films, fix spots, travel, and support each other, and do not every be too cool. Remain relatable, humble, and hungry.  thanks to you at tsm media, resurgent skateboards, am skate shop, dinner bread skate co, full send wax, etnies, castle kings, the four horsemen and my lady JNC.  thanks again!
