When did skateboarding change your life?

Since the Tony Hawk games came out.

What is your favorite trick and why?

My favorite trick is a Kickflip because you can do this flip everywhere and it is an easy and beautiful trick. And I like nollie Kickflips because not everyone can do this one.

With skateboarding in the Olympics, do you think skateboarding can prostitute itself or lose the true essence?

I think the Olympics are not so bad because we get some nice skateparks and a little bit more attention to our sport and other people accept maybe, that this is a real sport.

When was the first time you won a skateboard contest & how did you feel?

Last year I won my first contest and I felt great!

Skateboarding and music are very connected to each other, what do you like to listen to while skateboarding?

Actually, I don’t listen to music when I skate. I just listen to music when I drive to the skatepark and then something like Dropkick Murphys.

Do you prefer to shred in the streets or in skateparks? Why?

I like to shred in skateparks because of the better ground. I don’t like the rough concrete.

Have you ever thought of giving up skateboarding? Why?

No.

What inspires you to shred and evolve every day? Fame or just fun?

Most of all just for fun but sometimes I like to show other people how I can skate.

What’s your daily routine before you go shred?

I have a full-time job but usually, after work, I go skateboarding. On weekends I wake up early and have a big breakfast. After that, I go skateboarding.

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?

Put your smartphones away and go skateboarding. – Anton
