What got you into skateboarding?

My little brother got a skateboard for his 16th birthday and I use to watch him skate and I was like “ahh duuude this looks so sick” and I been into skateboarding ever since.

What is your skate scene like in your city?

The skate scene here is still kinda raw but growing. I always go to the skatepark and I’ll see little kids just sitting around watching me and just trying to learn how to get better at skateboarding.

What is you to go trick to start your sesh?

My go-to trick to start a sesh is a backside boardslide, it’s like a nice little warm-up trick to get the legs loose.

Do you feel skateboarding has changed your life? How?

I feel it has made changed my life by making me a stronger person. It gives you that mentality of never giving up, and to keep trying.

What pro skater inspires your skateboarding?

Nyjah Huston. He was the first pro skater I watched on YouTube and he always inspires me to go out and hit tricks off something big, or to just go out and have fun with the boys.

Do you prefer watching skate videos on social media or buying it? Why?

I prefer watching them online just because it’s easier and less of a hassle.

What is the gnarliest trick you have ever done? How did you feel when you landed it?

Gnarliest trick I’ve ever done is heelflip a 2 stair, I was hella stoked afterward. There’s no better feeling than landing a heelflip.

Tell us a little bit about your local skate shop & what they do for the skateboard scene?

So, there’s not a skate shop near where I live, so if you want anything to skate wise, you’ll have to go to the mall for Zumiez.

What is your daily routine before you go shred?

Before I go shred, I put on my Nike tights, so I won’t pull anything, my Nyjah shoes, head to the skatepark hit the vape a few times and then shred it up.

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?

Just keep skating. Some days it feels like you never make progress in your skate journey, but every day you skate you’ll make progress.
