What got you into skateboarding?

Shorty’s Guilty and my older brother for sure.

What is your skate scene like in your city?

It’s sick! I live in Berlin, there are constantly new spots popping up, the city is full of motivated skaters, photographers, filmers and people wanting to organize events and contests. Highly recommend visiting!

What is you to go trick to start your sesh?

Kickflip or a frontside flip if I am feeling loose.

Do you feel skateboarding has changed your life? How?

Definitely. I feel like skateboarding has not only changed my life but saved it too. There are a million examples I could give where skateboarding has had a huge impact on my life but unfortunately there’s not enough time. I will mention though that I love how we are all part of a caring family and that being a skater since such a young age has given me so many crazy experiences and taught me so much in life… In a sense, skateboarding has shaped me into the person I am today. It teaches you how to deal with pain and a lot about respect as well as staying young and having fun.

What pro skater inspires your skateboarding?

Here are just a few of my inspirations.

Brandon Turner, Wes Kremer, Alex Willms, Joey Brezinski, Tom Penny, Denny Pham, Andrew Reynolds, Shmatty Chaffin, Josh Kalis, & Matt Miller

Do you prefer watching skate videos on social media or buying it? Why?

Both, watching videos on social media is great for when you are out and about or do not have much time to sit back and chill.

But nothing beats buying the latest DVD and adding to the stack! I still have VHS tapes in perfect condition. Love it!

What is the gnarliest trick you have ever done? How did you feel when you landed it?

For me, the crooked grind on the sketchy kinked rail in Neukölln. (Rails scare the shit out of me, and this one was far from perfect. Crusty AF).

It felt like I won the lottery! Homies were so hyped ha-ha.

Tell us a little bit about your local skate shop & what they do for the skateboard scene?

They are dope and always give great support, putting together contests and events! Blue tomato is my local store and since last summer, I started to put together a whole team in which I have been lucky to be a part of. Stoked!

What is your daily routine before you go shred?

COFFEE! Chill to some music and skate vids, followed by breakfast and some possible stretches and on the spot manuals. Eventually, I grab my essentials and head for the streets.

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?

Do not be too serious, take care of you and your homies and have fun. Never quit skateboarding!
