Tony Hawk’s limited-edition replica of the Iron Maiden skateboard hand-painted by the late Kurt Cobain. In partnership with Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean, Tony created a limited run of unique boards featuring Cobain’s artwork, which was first painted in 1985 on a Jeff Phillips model SIMS skateboard.
Both Cobain and skateboarding icon Jeff Phillips tragically died by suicide, and Tony and Frances Bean see this project is an opportunity to honor their legacies by supporting young people in need. The proceeds from all sales will benefit the Jed Foundation, protecting emotional health for teens and young adults, and Tony Hawk’s Skatepark Project, prioritizing youth mental health through access to outdoor recreational spaces in underserved communities.
