The Carr Fire has affected thousands of people in Redding, Ca., our home town and where our son Bryson Farrill was born and raised and where he found his life long passion for skateboarding. His first skateboard contest @ the age of 9 years old was The NS3 Skateboarding Series in Redding, Ca,. Its with a heavy heart I’m reporting the NS3 has lost everything. The picture attached is Bob Buckalew’s property, he is one of the people who runs this skateboard series and is a good friend. He not only lost his house but also the storage that housed all supplies for the skate series, which included all kinds of skate items, pop ups, tables, PA System, giveaways, clothes, anything and everything that is needed to hold an event. The kids must be able to move forward and have fun when facing such tragedies as these devastating fires. The series was to be cancelled. Lets help Bob Buckalew and Kevin Marshall @ North State Skate Series (NS3) and SKATE MOVEMENT (SKATEMVMT.) you can find them on facebook, and the kids who look forward to this Annual 2 month long skate series, that has been going on for 12 YEARS pick up the pieces and move forward in a positive and loving manner. Series starts early September. We will be in Redding, Ca., Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 1st for a skate gathering @ Anderson Skatepark. Keep an eye out for times. Please donate by Friday August the 31st. Life goes on as will this Skateboard Series. PLEASE DONATE TODAY, SKATE OR DIE!!!!”-Shawna Farrill
