This exhibition was organized in part to celebrate the groundbreaking of the New Albany Flow Park—a 14,000+ square foot skate able work of public art, opening in 2019. The Carnegie Center for Art and History, in partnership with the City of New Albany and Hunger Skateparks, is transforming an outdated waterfront skate park into a skate able work of public art. Demolition of the former skate park is underway and construction on the New Albany Flow Park is slated to begin in August.
