It had been 30YRS since the last time Blockhead had blessed our vhs players with some epic skate clips.
August 10th was the release of their new skate video, “Heads Up”
This isn’t just any skate video; this is the full feature skate videos many of us grew up with. As Dave from Blockhead said, “I hope you know, you came to see an old guy skate video”, but it did not disappoint. Sure it didn’t have crazy tricks over 10 stairs or giant gaps like we are used to seeing these days, but it was epic nonetheless. Lots of 80’s vibes throughout the video that was reminiscent of the days when we would gather at our friends houses and pop in the latest vhs skate video with our buddies. They say smiling is contagious and I smiled through the whole video. “Heads Up” featured the original Blockhead team, as well as friends of the brand, and special guests such as Yo Gabba Gabba. It was a fun night full of legends and lots of fun – STORM
