A tribe is a group of people that includes many families and relatives who have the same customs and beliefs.
Skateboarders in many ways are a modern day tribe whose only means of survival has been to persevere through a strong belief in our culture, a do it ourselves attitude and a strong internal unity.  Although we have not suffered the same injustices as this country’s natives there are still many similarities with us being misunderstood, mistreated and villainized.
With that in mind please consider that we have a group of brothers and sisters who have been under attack for several hundred years by the powers at be. I won’t go into a history lesson because I am sure that everyone is aware that our Native American family is still suffering under the tyranny of a government that failed to wipe them off the face of the earth.
We at Amigo Skate are humbly asking all skaters in our extended Tribe to please make a small donation in support our inaugural mission to the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation this fall. There is a skate park on-site but due to major economic hardships skateboards are nearly impossible to acquire. We will be there from September 22-26 hosting our usual mayhem of skateboarding, music and graffiti art. Our goal is to spread the stoke by hosting a skate contest, painting collaboration murals, and delivering donations of skateboards and music gear.
Unlike most charity’s we guarantee that 100% of all funds donated will go directly to fund this project without any administration fees taken out.
Thank you for your support.
