X Games has officially announced a new three-year partnership with California Dreamin’ Entertainment. This collaboration will facilitate the introduction of a highly regarded action sports and music festival at Cal Expo in Sacramento during the summers of 2025 through 2027. California Dreamin’ Entertainment is revitalizing the former Raging Waters site within the Cal Expo/California State Fairgrounds. It will lead the city’s efforts in partnership with the X Games. The inaugural X Games Sacramento event is scheduled for August 22 to 24, 2025, and will feature three days dedicated to action sports culture and competitions. Additionally, this event will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the X Games.
