When did skateboarding change your life?

Skateboarding had really changed my life last year January 2018. Where I decided to pick up my board and drop my bad habits, skateboarding has helped me get out of a very dark place and I am grateful to skateboarding for that.

What is your favorite trick and why?

My favorite trick is The Kickflip. I love the history behind the trick, and it was also the first trick that I really struggled with and it is just an amazing feeling doing them.

With skateboarding in the Olympics, do you think skateboarding can prostitute itself or to lose the true essence?

Skateboarding in the Olympics might be good for the skateboarding community because the people outside the industry might view skateboarding more positively which will create more opportunities for the skateboard industries to evolve which might possibly lead to more skaters making a living off skateboarding

When was the first time you won a skateboard contest & how did you feel?

Last year December was when I won my first contest which was the best trick contest on Instagram. It felt awesome to have won that contest, I also felt surprised at the fact that I won, considering that there were so many amazing skaters that entered as well.

Skateboarding and music are very connected to each other, what do you like to listen to while skateboarding?

I generally love listening to Metal and Blues. I have also really started enjoying listening to Motivational speakers while I am skating.

Do you prefer to shred in the streets or in skateparks? Why?

In the streets, because there are no skateparks close to where I live.

Have you ever thought about giving up skateboarding? Why?

I did stop skating when I was 16 to follow my passion for music. Recently I have picked up my board again, and since I have picked up my board again, I have never thought of giving it up, I want to skateboard for as long as what my body allows.

What inspires you to shred and evolve every day? fame or just fun?

I would say I shred just for fun because of the creative side of skateboarding, you can do whatever you want with this piece of wood and no one can judge you except yourself.

What is your daily routine before you go shred?

During the week I go to work, after work I then help my wife with her horse, and after that I skate until the sun goes down and on weekends my wife and I get ready and then go skateboard for the whole weekend, which is pretty awesome

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?

Never stop doing what you love, do not let negative remarks stop you from reaching your goals or discourage you from your dreams and it’s never too late to start believing in your passion.
