What got you into skateboarding?
In the early 80’s BMX was the flavor and in a BMX action I saw an ad for a Skateboard and that is where the fascinations started 1984….
What is your skate scene like in your city?
Here in the Phoenix area Skateboarding is strong with deep Roots.
What is you to go trick to start your sesh?
Rolling anymore and just popping some ollies.
Do you feel skateboarding has changed your life? How?
Skateboarding opened up my brain and showed me how to flow through space and time.
What pro skater inspires your skateboarding?
It has been many over the years. Right now, The Birdman is keeping me motivated to keep it going till the wheels fall off.
What is the gnarliest trick you have ever done? How did you feel when you landed it?
Double Kink Boardslide at 3rd Layer…. I battled and won.
Tell us a little bit about your local skate shop & what they do for skateboard scene?
My local skate shop is the legendary Sidewalk Surfer. They have been around since 1976 and have helped power the skateboarding community down here in Arizona.
What is your daily routine before you go shred?
I am up early for work burn through the workday. Eat some food, head out to the parking lot to hit some curbs, and go to the parks to skate and bowls.
Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?
Never give up. Do not give up. Do not let anybody push you around. Skateboarding for everybody. Love is what makes the world go round and should be kind to one another… and ride your skateboard…
