When did skateboarding change your life?

I would have to say when I had first moved to America and lived in Florida. I was going through a lot at school and adjusting to the country and found a lot of comfort in skateboarding.

What is your favorite trick and why?

Favorite Trick would have to be Kickflip. It’s always been that trick that is basic but feels so good when done right.

With skateboarding in the Olympics, do you think skateboarding can prostitute itself or to lose the true essence?

Honestly, I’m on the fence about skating being in the Olympics. It’s good for skating because it will open doors for schools to give scholarships for skating and for it to be more widely accepted. But, it’s also a bad thing because I believe skating will start to lose its true meaning, which is to just have fun and try your hardest for a trick! People will start to have a “Jock mindset” towards skating and it will become too competitive over time.

When was the first time you won a skateboard contest & how did you feel?

The first time would have to be at this small indoor park in Marietta Georgia called Chuting Star. They held Sunday contest for product and I randomly went to one and took home the prizes. The feeling was great! especially seeing how proud my mom looked ha-ha.

Skateboarding and music are very connected to each other, what do you like to listen to while skateboarding?

Back when I first started skating, I listened to all types of music. I listened to Genres ranging from Rock, Hip Hop, Rap, House and so on. But Today, I honestly only listen to Young boy, NBA, Polo G, or Lil Tjay.

Do you prefer to shred in the streets or in skateparks? Why?

I prefer to skate the street honestly. For me, it’s because I find a lot of joy in filming whenever I go skate, and the best way to do that is to do it in the streets. The unpredictability of street skating keeps everything so much more fun than skating a skatepark.

Have you ever thought about giving up skateboarding? Why?

Never. I’ve joked with my friends and said “I’m going to quit” whenever I was having a bad skate day, but I would NEVER seriously consider quitting. Skateboarding has helped me through too many downtimes and is just too damn addicting!

What inspires you to shred and evolve every day? fame or just fun?

A bit of both I guess. I find it fun to try and work towards a career or to have a goal set to accomplish while skating.

What is your daily routine before you go shred?

Wake up, check the weather, grab some type of food, hit my homie TJ, then hit the streets and see what adventure the day has.

Any inspiring words you want to tell the next generation of skaters?

Whatever you do, don’t let anybody have the power to discourage you. Believe and understand that you are GREAT, you are HEALTHY, and you can accomplish literally anything in this world. The only person that could even try to hold you back, is yourself.

Thank you, guys, for giving me this opportunity!
