Where are you and your band from?
We all reside in Nasvhille, TN but we’re all (except for Tee, our keys player) from different parts of the USA. I’m originally from the cornfields of Cumming, IA. Erik is from Plymouth, IN and Monica is from Pittsburgh, PA.
What type of music did you hear the most growing up?
I mainly just listened to whatever my bigger sister was listening to at the time, which would’ve mostly just been the pop music of the early 90s (everything from Ace of Base to Garth Books), but in Nov of 1995, I watched the Beatles Anthology, and my life changed. After that, it was everything Beatles, as well as the other classics (Stones, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Grateful Dead). The psychedelic garage rock scene really stuck with me too.
What made you first realize you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Well, like I said, after I discovered the Beatles, everything changed. I went from wanting to be an architect, to pro NBA player, then straight to rock star. I got my moms old acoustic that she never learned to play, and started trying to work out Beatles songs, as well as write my own.
What sets you apart from other bands/artists today?
Well honestly, there’s not many bands out these days just writing and playing good, catchy pop rock songs. I’m very melody driven when I write, and I feel like melody is very lacking in music these days. Also, I feel like a lot of bands and artists are playing to prerecorded tracks or playing songs written by other people. We write all our own stuff and perform it all live, which isn’t that the best part of a live show anyways? Every show can be different depending on how the band is feeling at that time.
For those who have never seen or heard your music before, how would you describe your music for the public audience?
Catchy, a bit psychedelic, and good beats you can groove to.

If you had to categorize your music, what genre would it best fit?
That’s a toughie but I’d have to say alternative rock.
Are there any stories surrounding your songs that you’d care to share?
Well this latest EP kind of has a Nashville working musician theme going through all the songs. Weedeater, All Outta Love, and Run Away with me all kind of pertain to being stuck in a rut with my current situation here in Nasvhille, TN. Just kind of going through the motions and getting bored with what I’m doing, and feeling the need to get out and escape what my reality has become. Until We Meet again and Can’t forget are more about relations I’ve had with girls that I met doing what I do here in town.
What do you do with your time away from music?
Well I always feel like music is somehow in the forefront of my life whether it be my own band, or playing gigs around Nasvhille, but I love to get outside and do things like hiking or golfing.
Any upcoming shows/tours/news?
A few dates here in Nashville, and will be hitting in 2018-veimmediatelypr.com
