We all got into skating because of somebody-who got you into it?

I got into skateboarding because of my Pops. I was sitting on the couch playing skate 3 and I told him that I was gonna go pro, he looked at me and said “you’re just a wanna be and a poser!” he then took the skateboard in the garage and started doing G-Turns in the driveway and busted an ollie. So basically I started skateboarding cause my dad called me a poser.

What’s your first set and trick?

My first set up was a skateboard I bought at a swap meet, it was a grey skateboard with the Jesus fish on it, crappy trucks that didn’t turn called “lightning” trucks and pink wheels. My first tricks were bert slides and a caveman off a car down the driveway because I was hyped on Jay Adams and Mike V.

Your first ad and/or hookup (brand or shop)?

My first ad was from my first clothing Sponsor concrete jungle, they introduced me as the team captain over in the east coast and it was pretty rad. I have good east coast fiends because of that ad, shotout to jocelyn gray!

What’s your Personal highlight in skating up to this point?

Honestly everyday it just gets better. I ride for 7 brands at the moment with more to come, I am getting invited to multiple contests to compete in, learning new tricks, new opportunities that I wish I could share but y’all gonna have to wait and see!

What’s your favorite spot (city, country, diy) to shred and why?

I really love my hometown area. The inland empire has everything for me, from stairs, ledges, rails, backyard pools, ditches, D.I.Y spots, the badlands. It is a skateboarding paradise to me! Come through and I will show you around.

A spot you wish you could of skated but never did?

The carlsbad gap, I literally cried when I saw the demolition video. I really wanted to hit that spot so bad.

Who in your crew deserves some shine and why?

Everyone on Team Kaution honestly kills. Tanner “Mad-Dog” Hanson, Francisco “Man Child Pennuri, Anthony Cotter, Frank Fernandez, Logan Cook, Chandler Jenkins, and Bryan Villanueva

If your not skating-what else do you like to do?

Reading skateboarding, Watchinh skateboarding, Thinking of skateboarding, Dreaming of skateboarding, Playing guitar, hitting on chicks, eating tacos the simple things in life.

What’s your plans for the next 12 months?

I plan on dropping a online video part, getting into the vans park series and other invite only contests, getting more coverage, getting my name in the industry and own this year and the year after that.

Anything you want to say to the upcomers or any shout-outs?

The only advice I have for up comers is “don’t let success get to your head and failure get to your heart” and lastly go skate and read more True Sk8board mag!!!
