We all got into skating because of somebody-who got you into it?
I started skating because of my brother josh, I was a little kid always wanting to hangout with my brother and his friends. During the time they were all into skateboarding so I watched and finally got into it.
What’s your first set and trick?
my first board was a baker , I loved that thing.. My first trick that I I felt proud of was my heel flips, I would practice them all the time and now I have them in the bag.
Your first ad and/or hookup (brand or shop)?
Definitely pungo board house they have been helping me progress keepin me busy , and lettin me skate the ramp on any given day, where I love there’s a lot of farms, and a beach so when I’m not at the beach I’m usually at pungo board house progressing on the ramp
What’s your Personal highlight in skating up to this point?
Probably just bein able to get to live close enough to a skate shop with access to a sick mini ramp , it’s walking distance to my house so I never think twice to go skate it.
What’s your favorite spot (city, country, diy) to shred and why?
My favorite spot is knotts island, a small skatepark right outside of Virginia deep in the country, always good people there to skate with too.
A spot you wish you could of skated but never did?
I want to skate a snake run, I’ve never had the chance to because there is none around me , that’s one spot I plan on skating one day.
Who in your crew deserves some shine ad why?
This question means a lot because there’s two people that rip and keep it on the low, Ted eberhart one of my close friends for years now has been gettin so good on the halfpipes it blows all our minds, stale fish 360s , air grabs , air grab 360s..you name it Ted will charge it . One other person in my crew is Colton Holmes, Colton is one my newer friends and he’s starting to grow on the crew. He’s been behind the lens capturing all the clips we need , and I appreciate that because when I’m not filming it’s nice to have a filmer.
If your not skating-what else do you like to do?
I love getting clips and editing videos for people to watch and just play as many times as possible on Instagram, I like editing and trying to new things with my camera and one day I hope to make a living doing that if not ,than I’m still always gonna do it as a hobby . It’s something I feel I can always have with me and always capture more moments.
What’s your plans for the next 12 months?
I plan on going to California this summer and gettin some good footage of the homies surfing la Jolla. Also I’ve been painting decks for pungo board house recently, I want to continue to do that and learn more about it.
Anything you want to say to the upcomers or any shout-outs?
My bros, Noah Barnas, Kai Barton , Ted Eberhart .They are the homies I’ll always progress with , and in July were flyin out west again to get some more clips. Eventually planning to sell some Disks with all the footage I get. – KH
